Retailers worldwide are predicting empty toy shelves this Christmas, due to the ongoing global shipping crisis, but Blackburn-based Zimpli Kids has a positive outlook in the run-up to Christmas and is pledging to supply every order it gets.
Zimpli Kids manufactures 95%-plus of its products in-house at its ISO9001, 14001 and SMETA accredited factory, sourcing most components from the UK and Europe. In the past year, it has cut out sourcing any components from Asia, recently taking on a substantial new unit to enable it to store 12 months’ worth of components, guaranteeing supply to customers quickly. The company says its Zimpli Kids Gelli Baff and Slime Baff are the first ever toys to be accredited by the British Skin Foundation. Zimpli Kids also donates 100% of profits on selected products to NHS Charities Together.
