After a busy second day, another great evening was in store at the Toymaster Show with the awards night honouring some top names in the toy trade.
The awards nominations were:
Friends of Toymaster – Nick Saunders (Brainstorm)
These are the ‘Unsung Heroes’ of the industry who go above & beyond to support Toymaster and the independent sector.
Special Recognition Award – Philip Kaye (Kayes of Cardiff)
Supplier of the Year – Character Options
This is awarded to the supplier who has shown excellent service to Toymaster during 2023.
Golden Teddy – Jon Ward of Epoch
Presented to Jon by BTHA Chairman, Simon Pilkington, Golden Teddy Awards are the BTHA’s way of recognising individuals who possess a degree of honesty and integrity and are the industry’s genuinely nice people. Jon is described by his nominators and seconders as someone who is an honest, hardworking and kind man who gets great satisfaction from helping others.
An industry legend, humble & totally deserving of this recognition. He is a wonderful role model to others who constantly goes out of his way to help his peers understand the business & industry. He is always there for moral support & encouragement, 24 hours a day.
