The annual Toy Trust Media Auction of airtime, magazine and online items is now open and advance bids are welcome.
The Auction will continue throughout Toy Fair at Olympia London from January 25 to January 27 and will close at 3pm on Thursday January 27: the last day of the event.
Bids can be placed online HERE or in person via auction boards which will be positioned in the BTHA Exhibiting Members’ Lounge at Toy Fair on stand Upper Level 205.
As the second largest fundraising activity for the Toy Trust each year, the Media Auction is a win-win scenario for all. Companies can bag themselves a media bargain, while all funds raised go to help the Toy Trust’s chosen children’s charities.
Highly valuable airtime, online and printed spots have been kindly donated from leading media outlets, plus major retailers have also added promotional slots in catalogues. The result is £100,000-plus of media space to bid for.
Lots have been received from SKY, Warner Media, Nickelodeon, CITV, Five (Milkshake), SuperAwesome, Red Media Sales, Diversity Media Sales, Moobug, POP TV, Zoopla, Toys ’n’ Playthings, Toy News, Toy World, The Entertainer and Redan Publishing. Details of each can be viewed on the Toy Trust Media Auction page, which will be updated at intervals with the current highest bids.
Toy Trust committee chairman commented Graham Canning commented: “On behalf of the Toy Trust committee, I’d like to thank all our media partners for their continued, incredibly generous support of the Toy Trust Media Auction, which continues to offer a very competitive and attractive selection of slots to bid on.
“Without our media partners we would not be able to support so many causes that directly benefit children throughout the year. This annual fundraising activity is a popular part of the industry’s calendar and one that everyone benefits from”

“Without our media partners we would not be able to support so many causes that directly benefit children throughout the year. This annual fundraising activity is a popular part of the industry’s calendar and one that everyone benefits from; we are all looking forward to seeing the results. I’d also like to give special thanks to Havas Entertainment’s Jeff Taylor for his dedication in helping us creating another superb list to bid for.â€
