The British Toy & Hobby Association (BTHA) and Toy Retailers Association (TRA)Â have announced that the 2021 Toy Industry Awards winners will be revealed online.
The prestigious awards will be unveiled at midday on Tuesday January 25 – the first day of Toy Fair. A video presentation of the winners will be available to watch online at any time once the announcement is made.
Among the coveted awards will be the winners of this year’s Toy Retailer of the Year Awards, presented by BTHA and the Toy and Supplier Awards categories, presented by TRA.
In a statement, BTHA said: ‘Whilst it had been hoped that a live event in person may have been able to take place during Toy Fair, this unfortunately will not be possible in this unique year which continues to be affected by Covid. The decision was taken to help protect the health of all potential attendees to the event. Both BTHA and TRA wish to reaffirm that the value of the Toy Industry Awards remains the same, and to confirm to all entrants, finalists and winners that they are as valued as they always have been.’
