On Thursday (March 3), children around the world will be dressing up as their favourite characters from their most-loved books to mark World Book Day. To celebrate, tonies is adding four new characters to its extensive collection of children’s audio speaker systems.
Favourite Classics – Pinocchio is the latest addition to the portfolio, helping to introduce today’s generation to this timeless story. Alongside this, rejoining the range is Favourite Tales: Little Red Riding Hood and Other Fairy Tales. Following the success of the original Toy Story Tonie, Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story 2 will be added too. Finally, Favourite Children’s Songs: Bedtime Songs and Lullabies will be re-released, with more tunes that will provide the perfect soundtrack for sleepy time.

Favourite Tales: Little Red Riding Hood and Other Fairy Tales
Running time: approx. 80 minutes, suitable for children aged three-plus.
Follow Little Red Riding Hood into the forest to meet her grandma, Goldilocks on her quest to find the perfect bed and porridge, The Gingerbread Man and his escape to freedom, and Jack & The Beanstalk’s meeting with an angry giant.
Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story 2
Running time: 27 minutes, suitable for children aged four-plus.
This sequel tells the story of how Woody is stolen by a toy collector, who ends up reuniting Jessie the Cowgirl, Bullseye and Stinky Pete. Unfortunately, this splits the gang in two. Buzz Lightyear and the rest of the crew lead a rescue mission to bring everyone back together. Expect to be on your feet, dancing along to upbeat numbers Jessie, the Yodelin’ Cowgirl and Woody’s Roundup.
Favourite Children’s Songs: Bedtime Songs and Lullabies
Running time: approx. 50 minutes, suitable for children aged three-plus.
Lullabies and bedtime songs create a calming environment to send children peacefully into the land of nod. With 20 soothing songs such as Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star; Row, Row, Row Your Boat; and Baa, Baa, Black Sheep, there are plenty of lullabies for little ones to enjoy.
