Spin Master has revealed what it says will be the trends of 2024 for toys and games, highlighting where its portfolio fits into what’s in for the year ahead.
It has divided the trends into five key categories, which include:
Sustained Fun – the classics and must haves that kids keep coming back to, such as the Rubik’s Cube, currently celebrating its 50th anniversary with a special Retro Cube edition; staples such as PAW Patrol Core Vehicles and GUND Sustainably Soft Mini Dolls.
Smoke & Magic, which takes in special reeals such as Bitzee Magicals & Disney; Hatchimals in the Alive Make a Splash Playset and Unicorn Academy Rainbow Light-up Wildstar.

Popcultured Playground, where trends and fandom meet play, including the Tech Deck’s Olympic 8-Pack; on trend game SwimWays Hydro Paddle & Pickle Ball Set; the T@G Someone Who game and Netflix spin-off Wednesday Cube.
Preschool Protagonists such as Vida the Vet Vet Clinic from the preschool animated series and the forthcoming autumn launch Ms Rachel as well as Gabby’s Dollhouse Gabby’s Celebration Dollhouse.
Play In Motion for kids on the move, covering off the likes of Kinetic Sand Squish Motion Playset; Monster Jam World Final Supercharge Speedway Playset and Hex Bots Wall Crawler Gecko.
