Popular children’s brand Kinetic Sand from Spin Master has partnered with creative-media agency SUPER, to launch a new early years, pre-school and nursey campaign called Kinetic Sand – Adventures in Sand.  

Schools across the UK have been invited to sign up and have already started receiving packs of Kinetic Sand for this academic year. The campaign offers schools and other learning establishments the opportunity to use Kinetic Sand products as part of children’s everyday learning. The schools will also be given support materials that have been written by SUPER.’s senior educators that focus on the education theme The World Around You. During these sessions, children will be taken on a virtual tour of key global locations where they will explore famous monuments, food, and cultures, and be given activities and challenges which use Kinetic Sand to bring learning to life.   

Kinetic Sand has been found to be beneficial in supporting physical development in children such as improving fine motor skills. Social and emotional development can also be supported through Kinetic Sand’s calming and relaxing effects.  

Spin Master and SUPER. have also created a special set of SEN resources to support children with special educational needs as Kinetic Sand can help children, for whom traditional learning is a challenge, express themselves. 

The campaign is set to be one of the most successful yet with 500 educational establishments signing up in the first week of the campaign. It’s set to reach over 300,000 children and families with the branded interactive experience delivering over 500,000 hours of hands-on-time with Kinetic Sand products.

It’s exciting to be getting kids’ hands in the sand and helping them unleash their creativity through play. 

“It was important for us to find a way to support all the hard-working teachers out there with easy-to-follow lesson plans, solutions for wet play and SEN resources, whilst ensuring they were provided with lots of free-flowing Kinetic Sand for little ones to enjoy!”
