TOMY enlisted the help of specialists at Disturbed Media Group to create an outdoor experience for shoppers in London to show off its Screwball Scramble game.
The 3D hologram highlighted the wacky game using state of the art technology to give it the appearance of floating in thin air.
It took place over two weekends in October at London’s busy Kings Cross station and the Westfield Shopping Centre to the west of the capital, enabling it to keenly target shoppers.
The “8k, ultra-HD 3D HyperGram technology” reached more than half a million people, with almost half of those again interacted with the activation to find out more using their phones.
Natalie Frow, Brand Manager at TOMY, said: “As a leading toy brand, we’re always looking for innovative ways to engage with our audiences and advances in technology is giving us new means to connect with consumers. At a time where consumers have more choice than ever before, offering these unique experiences allows us to make a lasting impact with our target markets which will be remembered.”
