“I was extremely proud and very honoured to represent Sambro, and all members of our team, at a reception at Windsor Castle to celebrate being the recipient of the King’s Award for Enterprise 2024. Paul Blackaby reported on Linkedin: “I was extremely proud and very honoured to represent Sambro, and all members of our team, at a reception at Windsor Castle to celebrate being the recipient of the King’s Award for Enterprise 2024. I was fortunate to be among 300 invitees and to meet The King, The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester and The Duke of Kent. Discussions ranged from toys (of course), sustainability, AI and football. Prudently avoiding the champagne, I can report that the apple juice (from the Royal Sandringham Estate) was delicious.”
The King’s Awards for Enterprise, previously known as The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise, were renamed last year to reflect His Majesty The King’s desire to continue the legacy of HM Queen Elizabeth II’s by recognising outstanding UK businesses.
