Ridiculum – the crazy card game every stocking needs

A new jumbled-up card game has launched in the UK for Christmas, embarking on a quest to create over 20,000 of the most ridiculous creatures ever.

This hilarious game of mismatched animals brings families and friends together as players race to create and complete some of the 20,000 possible ridiculous creatures, from the Chopogile – a wild blend of a chameleon, hippo, tiger and crocodile – to the Centibrus and Toponkey. Created by gaming enthusiasts Luke Melia and David Anderson, Ridiculum promises endless laughter and is the perfect addition to every Christmas stocking this year.

“Ridiculum invites players into a world of absurd, laugh-out-loud creatures with 48 colourful playing cards that can be combined to make over 20,000 unique animals”

Ideal for 2 to 6 players and suitable for adults and children (5+), Ridiculum combines colourful creatures, wordplay, phonics and memory-building, making it an engaging game for players of all ages. The game’s humour and simplicity mean everyone can jump right in, making it the perfect addition to any gathering this season.

Ridiculum invites players into a world of absurd, laugh-out-loud creatures with 48 colourful playing cards that can be combined to make over 20,000 unique animals. The game includes three different ways to play, allowing players to choose the style that best fits their group (instructions included inside).

In the classic game mode, players start by arranging a mismatched animal in front of them, with cards for the head, front legs, back legs and tail. Taking turns, players swap cards from a central pile, hoping to complete a matching set before the others. With every turn, players read aloud the outrageous names of their hybrid animals, sparking laughter and competition. The first player to collect a complete animal wins.

With simple rules, loads of laughs, and quick gameplay, Ridiculum is perfect for families, friends and festive gatherings. The unpredictable combinations and race to complete the funniest animal ensure each round is fresh, fun and memorable.
