Just as the political debate in the UK was switching to the Elgin marbles, Ravensburger headed north to lose its own marbles by building the UK’s tallest Gravitrax marble run.
The company teamed up with award-winning science presenter Greg Foot to create the three metre high run to highlight the “gravity-defying…. open-ended nature” of th system.

It was unveiled at the EUREKA! National Children’s Museum in Halifax, with scores of guesta including media and families, with Foot explaining the science behind the build. Families also had a go at building their own Gravitrax runs.
The event, which secured nationwide press coverage, was part of ongoing, year-round marketing support for the brand, which also includes TV, digital and PR.
