As part of a company-wide strategy to further grow and develop its Disney Lorcana trading card game (TCG) in the UK, Ravensburger has promoted Alex Parker to the newly created position of organised play co-ordinator.
Having been with Ravensburger for two years, Alex has gained valuable experience working with the brand, dealing directly with the public and getting an innate understanding of how the game resonates with the end user.
“Enabling retailers to establish their own organised play events locally is key to growing the community of players around the brand and I am so excited to be able to be part of the Disney Lorcana team”

Alex said: “Since I began working with the company I have seen Disney Lorcana grow from launch last year to being a global TCG phenomenon that has everyone eager to play.”
The new role will see Alex responsible for co-ordinating the launch and development of the organised play programme across the UK and Ireland. He will also be instrumental in providing support to retailers via dedicated reporting systems and handling day-to-day enquiries.
Alex continued: “Enabling retailers to establish their own organised play events locally is key to growing the community of players around the brand and I am so excited to be able to be part of the Disney Lorcana team.”
Ravensburger has also appointed Emma Arthur, previously director at Norton PR, as PR Manager for Disney Lorcana ahead of the launch of the hotly anticipated Gateway game this August.
