The eagerly awaited Preshow Noël Toys & Games is set to return to Deauville next Monday, running from 18 to 22 November 2024.

In the run-up to the opening of the show, exhibitors will be returning to the Hotel Barrière Le Royal, the Centre International de Deauville and the Villa Le Cercle to present their future collections to buyers from the entire French and international distribution network.

In addition to its loyal French market participants, the Preshow Noël welcomes players from every continent. This year, more than a third of the exhibitors come from 15 different countries. These include Germany (Schleich), Australia (Connetix Tiles, Moose Toys), Italy (Liscianogiochi), Spain (Educa Borras, Grupo Erik Editores, Molto y Cia), the UK (Just Play, YuMe Toys), Turkey (Dolu) and the USA (Jakks Pacific).

In addition to the large French contingent, the Preshow will welcome several delegations from international brands including Proludis Giocatolli, Prenatal and Citta del Sole (Italy), Toychamp, Dreamland, Broze and Colruyt (Belgium), Carletto and Swissgames (Switzerland), Hutter Trade (Germany), K.I.D. Toys (Canada), Top Toys (Spain), TK Maxx (UK), Smyths Toys (Ireland, Germany, Austria, etc.) and Flying Tiger (Denmark).

One in four exhibitors will be taking part for the first time in 2024: Alpha Group, Goki, Kids 2 Europe, Noukie’s, Playmobil, Toi Toys, Trade Invaders, Trefl, Wecool Toys and many more are in the starting blocks to meet the purchasing decision-makers from the distribution networks. This diversity is a real opportunity for buyers looking to broaden their horizons and enrich their product ranges.

One of the most eagerly awaited new features of the 2024 edition is the launch of “Fan Zone by Preshow.” This area will host suppliers with a specific offer dedicated to the kidult, fan and collector market, reflecting the evolution of the industry. Fan Zone by Preshow will highlight the latest trends in this fast-growing market segment (+2.5% sales growth in Europe and 28% of total sales in France in 2023, according to Circana).

This year, collector’s items continue to drive the market, with an increasingly varied offering that continues to expand: according to Circana, they account for more than 11% of the sector’s sales since the start of the year, and 14% of volumes.

Major players such as CLD Distribution, Exquisite Gaming, Innelec and Paladone will be exhibiting at the show, while some of the exhibitors at the Preshow Noël, including Barrado, Blackrock Games, Rubies, YuMe Toys and WTT, will be rounding out the range of products aimed at this target group in their showrooms.
