PopHeads Unveils Exciting New Li’l Pops 3D Craft Toy Range for Creative Kids
PopHeads’ partnerships model proves successful with over 320,000 units sold in Europe within its first six months. Responding to this high demand for their Eco-3D creations the innovations studios are now launching their own Li’l Pops brand for 2024.
Using proprietary card shaping software and the latest techniques these new applications are unique to the toy industry and are the first of their kind to market. The latest creations have all the dimensional perspectives synonymous with PopHeads and now include a range of 3D sticker activities, Sticker Wraps 3D.
Li’l Pops adds novelty to kinaesthetic learning and extends play by integrating colour-in backgrounds for framed wall-art and combining repositionable stickers in craft activities.
Made from sustainable cardboard materials, Li’l Pops have been specifically created for younger children and include cute collectibles, framed wall art, mini craft figures, and novelty masks.
“From the outset we wanted to create something unique with our eco-3D technology specifically for children. We had great fun creating an original range of twenty adorable animals with big, cute eyes and happy faces”
Natasha Leigh, head of sustainable innovations
The Li’l Pops are highly attractive to eco-conscious buyers with plastic-free packaging to minimise environmental impact, and even the mini-figures’ display stand and the patented mask strap are plastic-free and sourced from FSC card.
Natasha Leigh, head of sustainable innovations, told us: “From the outset we wanted to create something unique with our eco-3D technology specifically for children. We had great fun creating an original range of twenty adorable animals with big, cute eyes and happy faces. It was exciting news for us when the feedback from our focus groups and young product testers was so enthusiastic about the Li’l Pops. You know you are onto something when the adults enjoy them as much as the kids do. So, now we are working on a more complex version suitable for adult crafters too.”
The in-house illustrators working closely with the eco-3D technicians crafted multi-use, sustainable craft toys that would attract and engage children in creative play. It took only three months from the initial creative session of hand drawn sketches and mind-maps to obtain the level of cuteness and collectability needed for the final characters, which feature across all three range applications.
Additional R&D was spent developing a full halo for the range, eco packaging, lightweight durable materials and ethically sourced cardboard branded POS for holding the range. The prebuilt Li’l Pop 3D demo attaches to a header card to attract attention and generate impulse purchases in retail.
The eco-3D innovations company are actively seeking distributors and importers across the world and have ambitious plans to expand the Li’l Pops range further.
