Another Classroom Challenge has been completed thanks to Katie Gritt, head of marketing, and the team at Panini.
The English Schools’ Football Association has been working in partnership with Panini for a number of years with the Classroom Challenge going from strength to strength and encourages children to get creative with Panini. They provide schools and pupils with worksheets, Panini goodies and fantastic prizes for some very lucky winners.
“For 2023/24 we ran a dual competition including our Premier League stickers and our new Women’s Super League stickers and sent 1,000s of albums and sticker packets to schools along with worksheets encouraging children to get creative and design a football”
Katie told TnP: “For 2023/24 we ran a dual competition including our Premier League stickers and our new Women’s Super League stickers and sent 1,000s of albums and sticker packets to schools along with worksheets encouraging children to get creative and design a football. The school then has the option to enter their design into our nationwide competition.”
Over a 1,000 entries were received but the winner was Ella from Hertfordshire and Katie presented Ella with her own gift card and football shirt, as well as the cheque for her school.
Sarah Kearney, PR & Communications Manager of the English Schools’ Football Association said: “It’s incredibly important to be able to provide opportunities to school pupils created around football, but not necessarily ‘playing’ the sport. This helps us to make schools’ football more inclusive and to inspire pupils in different ways too.”
