Tony Strodder

We are sad to report that Tony Strodder has passed away

Malcolm Naish Toys ‘n’ Playthings Chairman had this to say: “Tony had so many friends in the toy trade. I first met Tony back in the sixties working with Stone & Lipman. Tony was the originator of the North v South annual cricket match that ran through the mid-eighties to the late nineties and was a very creative toy man.

Our thoughts are with his family at this very sad time”.

Tony’s family said; ‘Just to let you know our angel….husband, dad and friend to many…Tony Strodder passed away at home. In keeping with his wishes of a private and very simple David Bowie style funeral, we ask for your love and understanding at this very sad time. We will be in touch in the days and weeks to come, about a memorial for dad. In the meantime please take a look at www.braintumourresearch.org, this type of cruel cancer is massively under researched and underfunded. God bless you all and thankyou….Eileen and Rachel Xxx”.
