NEW RAVENSBURGER LORD OF THE RINGS ADVENTURE BOOK GAME TAKES PLAYERS ON A PAGE-TURNING ADVENTURE
Complete challenges and avoid the Eye of Sauron alongside Frodo, Aragorn and others in this immersive, co-operative board game “book”
Ravensburger, acclaimed publisher behind award-winning board games and high-quality puzzles, today announces The Lord of the Rings Adventure Book Game, a storybook-style board game that drops players into the legendary Lord of the Rings movie trilogyby J.R.R. Tolkien. The Lord of the Rings Adventure Book Game will be available for pre-order sales at London Toy Fair and on sale at retail in March.
As the third entry into Ravensburger’s “adventure book” range, the game allows for fans to uniquely play and relive iconic The Lord of the Rings storylines and key moments in “chapters” that are experienced over eight different, thoughtfully designed board game “pages” in the style of a hardback book. Featuring gorgeous art and detailed miniatures, the game allows for flexible play for solo or co-operative family gaming, enabling players to choose their style of adventure. They will complete challenges and avoid the Eye of Sauron alongside Frodo, Aragorn and others in this immersive board game “book” which is suitable for up to four players, ages 10 and upwards, with an RRP of £39.99. Each chapter takes approximately 20 minutes to play. The launch will be supported by a marketing and PR campaign from March onwards.
In The Lord of the Rings Adventure Book Game, Sauron’s shadow has fallen across Middle-earth, and the One Ring must be destroyed. To complete their daunting quest, players will need to work together to help cherished Lord of the Rings characters journey from The Shire to the fires of Mordor, all while avoiding the Eye of Sauron.
