He said: “I am delighted to be joining Lema Publishing. I’ve often attended the Toy Fair and subscribed to toy trade magazines and have always thought of this as an exciting arena to work in. There are close links between what I’ve done for years and the toy business, certainly when it comes to big franchises from pre-school through to more grown-up sectors. And I’m still a big kid at heart, so love this business.
“I aim to build on TnP’s storied history, strong reputation and credibility. I have always had a great relationship with retailers and suppliers alike and hope that I can establish the same with the TnP readers. I have bags of ideas, but also want to hear from readers across the board to hear what they want from their trade magazine. So please get in touch and tell me what you’d like to see and what we should be covering.”
Lema Publishing managing director Mark Naish said: “I am delighted to welcome Tim to Toys ‘n’ Playthings and the Lema family. We are fortunate to get him, with his extensive experience and background he will be a real asset to the magazine and I look forward to him getting to know everyone and the exciting content he will bring to TnP.”
