Creative children have a chance to win an egg-stra special bundle this Easter – thanks to stationery brand Maped Helix.

Maped Helix is challenging young people to get crafty by creating a papier mâché Easter egg.

The winning design, as decided by a team of judges, will win a fantastic hamper, including a range of Maped colouring packs, as well as the Maped Creativ Blow Art kit and other goodies.

The Maped Creativ Blow Art kit creates eye-catching airbrush effect pictures using just a flexible tube, rubber bands and special pens.

Also up for grabs is a collection of cards, gift bags and soft toys donated by partner Hallmark from its Itty Bittys collection.

“Easter is an exciting time for children across the country and we wanted to encourage creativity and imagination with this competition”

Bake My Day, meanwhile, has donated an Easter-themed chocolate brownie tray.

The competition is open now and closes on March 25.

Hannah Lawrence, Marketing Assistant at Maped Helix, said: “Easter is an exciting time for children across the country and we wanted to encourage creativity and imagination with this competition.

“We have already had some amazing entries and I’m sure there will be many more before the closing date. Some of our most popular products are there to be won, along with some fantastic extras from our partners Hallmark and Bake My Day.”

A step-by-step guide of how to make a papier mâché Easter egg using PVA glue, a balloon, newspaper and paint can be found on Maped Helix’s Instagram page, @maped_helix.
