Magformers is aiming to grow with glow this year after unveiling a new range that includes its first ever luminous pieces.
The glow-in-the-dark pieces are among the highlights from a range of four new sets unveiled at Toy Fair, taking in the luminous pieces alongside “holographic and see-through geometric shapes, to mini-wheel train/bus wheels, roleplay characters and a transforming vehicle seat”.

The four sets are Magformers Glowing Craft Set comprises 20 pieces and features 13 magnetic squares and triangles, a special seat square, mini play character and accessories which glow in the dark after exposure to direct light; Magformers Twinkling Garden Set is a beautiful 27-piece toy which enables children to make an array of model flowers, plants, insects and animals using magnetic shapes and accessories using holographic squares; Magformers City Go Set with six mini-wheels pieces so children can make push-along cars, trains, trams and other vehicles and is aimed at younger builders; and Magformers Dream Land Set, a construction toy with an exploration theme.

“The breadth of different magnetic shapes in each set means classic Magformers construction play is very much at the core of the sets. But adding fun features like glow-in-the-dark functionality adds even more play value and we are very excited to be launching these new sets.”
