The BTHA awarded special prizes to three stands on the first day of Toy Fair, including one for a company that is believed to have been at every show since its inception 70 years ago.
The awards were given to Gibsons Games for being the longest standing exhibitor at Toy Fair, while Basic Fun! was awarded for best use of space and Eduk8 Worldwide was recognised for the best use of shelving.
Katie Gibson of Gibsons said: “Imagine not being here! we’re pretty sure we’ve been at every Toy Fair, we’re very proud to have been part of it. We’re also celebrating getting our B Corp status, so it’s a double whammy.”
The Basic Fun! stand was recognised for its clever design around one of the staircases in the grand hall.
“We wanted a really prominent position and through traffic was important for us. We liked the challenge of the stairs and our designers 2BP worked with me to make it interactive and fun”

Eduk8 Worldwide’s stand was noteworthy for its creative use of shelving and the company’s Christine Lawson said; “its distinctive and customers can see each product range individually. It’s been non-stop.
