Little Tikes has announced the launch of a new child-tech product line with the release of Tobi2. The products are designed to introduce children to tech in a safe and engaging way by bringing play to life through clever product innovation and smart features.
The Tobi2 Robot Smartwatch, with its modern, clear housing that lights up, is the flagship of the new line. Packed with a host of interactive features to engage and excite adventurous minds, Tobi2 Robot Smartwatch features a playful personality and a variety of brain, arcade, and fitness games. Kids can play games head-to-head with other nearby Tobi2Robot Smartwatches. Children will also be able to snap selfies with a unique movement of their arm and send voice messages with the Walkie Talkie app to nearby Tobi2 Robot Smartwatches.
Featuring a built-in pedometer, kids will also be encouraged to track their steps and movement all whilst having fun and staying active. Other features include a clock, calculator, stopwatch, and timer. With a choice of colours and both a dual camera and wearable clip to transform the video camera into a ‘Go Cam’, the accessory is practical and fun. The smartwatch’s built-in memory also has the ability to store up to 3,000 photos or 30 minutes of video, perfect for budding photographers.
Other products in the Tobi2 portfolio include the Interactive Karaoke Machine and Tobi2 Director’s Camera. Children will be able to find creative ways to showcase their imagination, from directing and filming their own movies to writing and performing their own songs.
The Tobi2 Director’s Camera helps kids champion their inner film-director and photographer, with the ability to create and customise their own videos. Features include video stickers and stop motion animation. With two built-in HD cameras for photos and videos as well as 40 backgrounds, children can spend hours creating their own mini cinematic masterpieces. The Tobi2 Director’s Camera can also be controlled using the Tobi2 Robot Smartwatch.
The Interactive Karaoke Machine gives children the chance to sing along with animated Tobi, all whilst producing their own music through voice changing technology, pitch correction and sound effects. With built-in songs and beats to sing along to, children will have endless hours singing along with friends. Kids can also get creative by writing and recording their own music, so they can create their own pop group or make their own hit song just like their favourite groups. It features built-in Bluetooth technology, which allows kids to connect the machine to an external music device, and they can even use their Tobi2 Robot Smartwatch as a remote control.
