Disney film Hocus Pocus – thought to be something of a flop on its original release almost 30 years ago, but now a cult classic and Halloween favourite – has received the ultimate accolade after being turned into a LEGO set.
It was chosen via the LEGO Ideas platform after fan Amber Veyt submitted a design that garnered more than 10,000 votes before being officially selected.
The 2,000-piece plus set – LEGO Ideas Disney Hocus Pocus the Sanderson Sisters’ Cottage, to give it its full name – goes on sale at the start of July and will retail at just under £200.
It features the cottage from the film, which can also be easily converted into the similar Sanderson Witch Museum with the aid of some extra bricks and pieces included. It also contains six minifugres, including the trio of witches famously plated by Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Nijimy.
The film has been given a further lease of life via Disney+ streaming service and a sequel released last year.
