Join the fun this summer with Skipper and her friends, as the Barbie brand launches its first ever movie focused on Barbie’s sister Skipper in Barbie Skipper and the Big Babysitting Adventure™, debuting on POP on 2nd April 2023 at 9am, with repeats at 1pm, 5pm and 8:15pm.
Following Barbie’s younger teenage sister in her first starring role, the movie brings to life fun and adventure in relatable real-world scenarios. Skipper is a babysitting expert, but when her babysitting business hits a snag, she takes a summer job at a water park and tries out different first jobs with some new friends. When a birthday party at the park goes awry, Skipper’s babysitting skills save the day! The success renews Skipper’s confidence in her babysitting business, and she and her new friends start a babysitting squad. This exciting new movie features new characters and two all-new songs!
Barbie Skipper and the Big Babysitting Adventure expands Barbie’s family universe, introducing a new generation of characters with compelling and relatable stories that kids can connect with through true-to-life fun adventures. A toy range is inspired by the movie and includes the Barbie Skipper Babysitters Playset & Doll that features Skipper doll along with a baby doll, a crib with mobile and 4 storytelling pieces. The Barbie Skipper First Job Waterpark Playset & Doll, also features Skipper doll in her onscreen-inspired uniform with a small toddler doll, a multi-level waterpark and 5+ accessories including a pet puppy, so kids can bring the movie action to life.
