Simba Smoby UK will be completing the final leg of its triple comic convention tour for Jada this weekend with a showcase of its pop culture brands at MCM Comic Con London.
Following on from March’s MegaCon Birmingham event and July’s MegaCon Manchester event, Simba Smoby UK will be revving its event engines one final time for the calendar year, with a stand at MCM Comic Con London, this coming weekend.
“Comic conventions such as Comic Con and MegaCon offer us the chance to get our vast portfolio of pop culture brands in front of core fans”
When Comic Con London opens its doors, on Friday 25 October, the London comic and film fan scene will be welcomed onto the eye-catching Jada stand to enjoy a whole shop of product. On display will be some of Jada’s hottest diecast vehicles, a wide selection of Nano and Metal Figures, collector edition action figures, as well as its RC lineup. Disney, Marvel, Street Fighter, Fast & Furious, Minecraft and Wednesday will all be part of the mix, with stand visitors to receive an opportunity to ‘spin the wheel’, for the chance to benefit from discounts and other prizes.
Jada’s hugely successful Metal Figures will be a key attraction, with the newly released Disney’s Stitch, Sonic the Hedgehog, Wednesday, Scooby Doo and Nightmare Before Christmas figures all on show and available to buy. The brand’s awesome RC lineup will also be a core focus, with best-sellers such as the Toy Story Buzz and Woody, as well the exciting new release, just in time for Halloween, Wednesday RC Thing!
Ben Hogg, head of marketing, Simba Smoby UK, said: “Comic conventions such as Comic Con and MegaCon offer us the chance to get our vast portfolio of pop culture brands in front of core fans. MCM Comic Con London is the last of a triple comic convention tour for Jada, this year, with each exhibition offering consumers the chance to experience the quality and level of detail of Jada’s licensed products first-hand.
These events have been an essential part of our growth strategy and we’ve covered the length of the country with the three we have exhibited at this year. With Christmas just around the corner, this last leg of the tour and final awareness drive is optimally timed.”
