Model railway giant Hornby is partnering up with train-themed entertainment provider Trainmaster in a move that will see the former’s product expanding throughout the latter’s entertainment network.
The partnership will, the companies said, “captivate young minds and create extraordinary experiences for children throughout the United Kingdom”.
Trainmaster was founded by former teacher Chloe Cotton and is a franchise operation working in 25 counties across the UK to cater for families “seeking immersive train-themed entertainment.
“Children will have the opportunity to see and interact with Playtrains in person, immersing themselves in the exciting world of model railways. Hornby is proud to supply its exceptional range to Trainmaster, encouraging young minds to explore the endless possibilities of creating their own captivating Playtrains world”
Trainmaster will now be using Hornby’s Playtrain range, aimed at young children aged three and above, at its events and parties around the country.
The announcement from the new partners noted: “Children will have the opportunity to see and interact with Playtrains in person, immersing themselves in the exciting world of model railways. Hornby is proud to supply its exceptional range to Trainmaster, encouraging young minds to explore the endless possibilities of creating their own captivating Playtrains world.”
The first fruits of the new arrangement will see the pair working alongside each other at the Gloworm festival held in Nottinghamshire in August.
And, the announcement added: “Looking ahead, Hornby and Trainmaster are excited to work together on a host of future events and collaborations. Through this partnership, the two companies will combine their passion for trains, creativity, and innovation to bring joy and excitement to children across the nation.
