Edition Spielwiese and Hachette Boardgames are bringing MicroMacro Kids to tabletops in the UK, US, Canada and Australia.
The MicroMacro series, known for its large-scale, cartoon-like maps and clever detective challenges, has captivated players with four core titles and spin-offs like MicroMacro Jigsaw. In these games, players solve mysteries by tracking key events and characters hidden within detailed illustrations.
MicroMacro Kids builds on the formula, offering a range of family-friendly cases set in the familiar MicroMacro world. While the original games included some darker themes, this edition focuses solely on playful, light-hearted mysteries. The age rating for the game is 6+, whilst the original MicroMacro games were recommended for 12+.
Young detectives will help find a misplaced hat, gather carrots for fluffy bunnies, and locate a lost dog in the park. The game features 22 engaging cases that gradually increase in difficulty, coaching players through challenges while keeping them entertained for hours with fun details and hidden surprises. The game features 44 additional ‘search and find’ mini tasks.

Now, with the help of a freelance editor who was responsible for Children’s Game of the Year at Ravensburger, we’ve created a game just as thrilling as the Crime City series.”

MicroMacro Kids will be showcased at London Toy Fair (Hachette Boardgames UK booth – stand number UL123), as well as at Spielwarenmesse in Nuremberg and New York Toy Fair.
The game launches in April 2025 and retailers are able to preorder it through Hachette Boardgames.
