The Fence Club committee had another great night raising over £2,300 at its annual Toy Fair party last week.
The celebration saw over 150 people come together at the Duke of Hammersmith in London, after a busy second day at Toy Fair. The venue provided the ideal location for people to relax and let their hair down, catching up with industry friends and colleagues after a busy couple of days at the show.
“this is a great start to the annual fundraising efforts for the Fence Club membership, it is without doubt that all that attended had a great time”
Fence Club members and their guests dug deep and contributed generously to the raffle, with the £2,300 proceeds raised going towards the year long donations to UK children’s charities that the Fence Club grants. Winners were drawn with Zuru’s Will Collinson and Character’s Ant Thorpe taking home the two prizes of a Magnum of champagne.
Guests tucked into a great buffet followed by dancing for the rest of the evening.
Derek Scott, chairman of the Fence Club, said: “this is a great start to the annual fundraising efforts for the Fence Club membership, it is without doubt that all that attended had a great time. Here’s to more fun. friends and fundraising for the coming year.”
