Seasoned Digital Marketing and E-Commerce Executive Joins to Oversee Retail Strategy
Exploding Kittens, the hit tabletop game creator has announced that Jed Paulson has been named Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). Paulson joins Exploding Kittens with over 20 years of experience leading digital marketing, e-commerce, and technology for multiple global retail companies including Rad Power Bikes, eBay, Free People, REI, Aritzia, and more.

As CCO of Exploding Kittens, Paulson will oversee the commercial strategies of both the company’s direct-to-consumer site and retail partner relationships. Working in partnership with Exploding Kittens President Carly McGinnis and the entire team, Paulson will elevate Exploding Kittens’ digital marketing development to continue increasing game sales worldwide.

A proven business operator, Paulson most recently served as Chief Revenue Officer at Rad Power Bikes, North America’s largest electric bike brand, where he oversaw all revenue-related functions as well as marketing and information technology. Prior to that, Paulson was the Chief Digital Officer at The Riveter, a female-focused coworking business with a thriving digital community, where he was responsible for member growth, engagement, and technology. He has also served as Senior Vice President, Digital at Aritzia overseeing digital transformation and e-commerce, Vice President, Digital at REI leading the e-commerce business, and Director of Marketing and E-Commerce at Free People.
