Orchard Toya is saying a fond farewell to company stalwart Erica Haythornwaite is leaving the company after more than a quarter of a century.
The national accounts manager has spent some 32 years working in the industry and is now leaving the educational games and jigsaw company after Toy Fair.
In a statement recalling her highlights at the company, Orchard noted: “Over the years she has created many fond memories, and lots of personal highlights, including working with a palaeontologist at the Natural History Museum to develop the Dinosaur Discovery Puzzle, the fun fancy dress nights out at Toymaster shows, and all the people she has met in the toy trade, customers, associates and colleagues.”
Simon Newbery, Managing Director at Orchard Toys, said: “Erica has been a key member of our sales team during her 25 years with us. She will be greatly missed by us all, and we wish Erica the very best in her future endeavours.”
