EDUK8 is excited to be returning to London Toy Fair and will be showcasing a number of award-winning toys and new product launches at the prestigious exhibition.
New additions to the popular award-winning play mat range are Colour ‘n’ Wipe Dinosaur and Zoo play mats, available in large and extra-large versions. Supplied with six triangular, colouring marker pens, which are easily erasable for continuous play, the mats also come with an all-weather clear protective coating. Produced from 75% recycled materials and totally portable, when play has finished, just wipe clean, roll up and secure with the attached ribbon. Suitable for ages three-plus.
One of the key successes for EDUK8 in 2022 has been its outdoor play/activities range, which has seen extensive growth, which the company believes will continue throughout 2023. Building on this success, many new items have been introduced, including the new Junior Sunflower Parachute, a welcome addition to the outdoor parachute collection, which is perfect for special educational needs and smaller groups such as nurseries and kindergartens.
EDUK8 will also feature product launches for Science, highlighting an array of nature-exploring items such as brightly coloured magnifiers, suitable for indoor and outdoor use and ideal for little hands.
Another exciting new addition to be featured is a range of multi-layered wooden puzzles, produced from sustainable wood. These puzzles will aid cognitive skills, hand-to-eye coordination, problem solving, fine motor development and much more.
A highlight of the fair will be EDUK8’s Alertz. An easy-to-understand ‘traffic light’ noise warning system. Alertz can be used in a variety of areas such as classrooms, libraries, hospitals and special needs settings. With seven different noise level settings, adjustable from as low as 50 decibels, the product’s flexible design allows the use of both audible and/or visual warnings and can be used across indoor and outdoor settings in mounted or free-standing positions. The design of the LED warning lights means that they are visible at more than 180 degrees and the full system can be operated by remote control. Users of the system can even record their own warning messages.
Alertz represents real innovation in the noise management segment and offers a powerful tool to help teachers manage noise in classrooms, and managers monitor noise levels in sound sensitive settings. Due to the simple traffic-light and audible warning alerts, it is a system easily understood by a wide range of audiences, including those with additional needs or auditory/visual impairment.
