We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Account Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a proven track record in sales management. This role requires an individual who can effectively communicate with clients, analyse market trends, and drive sales growth. The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for managing key client accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, and fostering long-term relationships to enhance business opportunities.
Duties
- Lead and manage a portfolio of key client accounts, ensuring their needs are met with exceptional service.
- Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Utilise Salesforce for tracking account activities, managing sales pipelines, and reporting on performance metrics.
- Mentor and guide junior account managers, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Prepare regular reports on account performance, sales forecasts, and market insights for senior management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in account management or a similar role within a sales environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Proficient in analysing data to inform decision-making processes.
- A good working knowledge of excel including V-Lookup and pivot tables is essential
- Familiarity with Xerox and Linworks is desirable.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
