The Toymaster May show kicked off yesterday with some great ranges for the visitors. It looked to us at TnP that there was already some serious business being done early on. The rain made way – by afternoon the sun was shining and the smiles were even brighter. On both sides.
Some of the exhibitors we spoke to had some great offers for the retail buyers. These included Vtech who told us that they were having an excellent first day.

Vtech’s national account manager, Mike Williams, said of a range of their products: “There are some great offers for Toymaster retailers.”
There was a great cheery vibe as the evening entertainment got underway. Yogi Parmar, Toymaster’s managing director, made a heartwarming announcement and presentation.
John Adams’ Bruno Gallone received Toymaster’s coveted Special Recognition Award. This is given to individuals who have made a real difference over many years in forging strong relationships with Toymaster and its members, putting people at the centre of everything it does.
And it didn’t end there. Bruno then led the band onto the stage to deliver a stunning set of chart favourites. The band’s name? Toy Division! The reaction from the room was loud, more fun and even more dancing.
And so the first evening ended on a high note. And there will be more today as the show gets underway again today.
