Despite strong industry support, due to the ongoing challenges presented by Omicron the organisers of Spielwarenmesse have decided to cancel this years event.Â
In an email to exhibitors from the organisers it was explained that in Bavaria trade fairs are threatened with an immediate ban where the 7 day incidence exceeds 1,000. With rates in other European countries already showing significantly higher values, the risk to the event was too great.
Exhibitors will still be able to use the Spielwarenmesse digital industry platform to present new products and exhibitors and will be sent all the information on Spielwarenmesse Digital 2022 next week.
