The Board Game Club – the grown-up night for the industry and keen games players to play games in a swish Soho venue – is celebrating Independence Day on July 4 with its own “independents’ day” event.
The next night at the Century Club tucked away on Shaftesbury Avenue in the heart of the West End will see the club playing host to only indie games studios and designers.
Among those attending and showing off their wares for people in, around and outside the industry include Exploding Kittens, Format Games, Big Potato and Camden Games.
“Aimed at celebrating the incredible creativity at the heart of indie games, the night will showcase a range of party, card, light strategy and action games for guests at Soho’s private members’ club, Century”
Other indies are welcome to suggest further games for inclusion on the night by emailing Playtime PR boardgameclub@playtimepr.com with details.
As ever, the night is, as the announcement for the next event noted: “Aimed at celebrating the incredible creativity at the heart of indie games, the night will showcase a range of party, card, light strategy and action games for guests at Soho’s private members’ club, Century.”
Playtime further noted that the night offers great networking opportunities as well as the opportunity to see the latest releases and trends in game playing.
