Family-run Bigjigs Toys has announced its acquisition of jigsaw brand, The House of Puzzles. The move marks the beginning of a new era for Bigjigs Toys as it moves into the cardboard jigsaw category. 

The House of Puzzles’ range of 350+ jigsaws has captivated enthusiasts for decades. Celebrated for its artist-illustrated designs and exceptional craftsmanship, The House of Puzzles’ brand complements Bigjigs Toys’ diverse collection of premium quality playthings for kids and big kids alike.

Bigjigs Toys has been active for near on 40 years. In 1985, founders Liz and Peter Ireland worked from their garden shed making jigsaw puzzles from old floorboards. Today, the family-run brand has an extraordinary collection of award-winning toys lovingly designed in the UK and sold in 100+ countries worldwide.

The House of Puzzles launched in 1999. Over time and guided by the successful leadership of three owners including Ivor Cohen, the brand became a household name with a range of 350+ jigsaws loved by families across the globe.
