Alain De Rauw has joined the Classic World team as Global Sales Manager. He brings over 30 years of experience in the toy industry, along with a deep passion and unwavering energy for this remarkable field.
Alain, 55, is married and a proud father of two. His impressive career includes 15 years working with the Smurfs, 6 years with the Belgian company DAM, and, most recently, 13 years at PlanToys, where he served as Global Sales Director.
In his new role, Alain is responsible for positioning Classic World on the global stage, strengthening existing business relationships, and building long-term partnerships. While he will remain based in Belgium, he will closely collaborate with the Classic World team in Ningbo to achieve these goals.
Classic World toys was established in 1998 to bring better and higher quality toys to children all over the world. Classic World produces safe, quality wooden toys from sustainable sources through ecologically friendly manufacturing processes.
When designing each toy the design team’s objective is to create something which inspires intellect, social & emotional skills, fine motor skills, gross body movement, language, creativity and aesthetic.
