The 114 finalists for the 2022 Toy of the Year (TOTY) Awards have been revealed. Now it’s up to the global play community to help determine who will earn top honors at the February 18 TOTY gala, which serves as a critical fundraiser for The Toy Foundation.
HOW TO VOTE
Consumers, retailers, media, and U.S. Toy Association members will have between now and January 4 to cast their votes across 16 categories of toys, games, and entertainment properties. One product will also take home the ‘People’s Choice’ award (based solely on consumer votes), and one will win the coveted ‘Toy of the Year’ title chosen by a select panel of industry experts.
Head over to ToyAwards.org to vote for each category – including Action Figure Toy of the Year, Collectible of the Year, Doll of the Year, Playset of the Year, and STEAM Toy of the Year.

Known as the Oscars of the toy industry, the TOTY gala is not only a not-to-be-missed event for the toy community but serves as a vital fundraiser for The Toy Foundation’s philanthropic work supporting millions of children in vulnerable situations through toys and play.
Funds raised through the TOTY gala (from nomination fees, TOTY seals, gala tickets, and sponsorships) will help to expand programmes benefiting children in need, including a partnership with the Children’s Hospital Association that helps fund play-based programming and care in U.S. children’s hospitals; and a new diversity & inclusion initiative that will ensure a culture of inclusion and equity is reflected across all business practices of the global play community, from hiring to promotions, supply chains, and beyond.
